When we take Daisy out anywhere – even if it’s relatively close by – we always secure her safely in the back seat with her car harness, and we have the car seat protected with a special dog cover. That thing is invaluable – my back seat still looks like new, even though we’ve had a muddy, wet, and/or snow-covered pup back there many times over the past four years!
But if I’m just pulling the car up the driveway and into the garage, I let Daisy sit in the front seat next to me. She absolutely LOVES that and has no problem transitioning back to the back seat for the next outing.
We’re part of the Thursday Barks and Bytes blog hop!
LOL. She is so dang cute looking out the window.
Aww thanks Mary! I love how tiny she looks through the windshield!
Haha love the smile on your co-pilot!
It couldn’t get any bigger!
….wow you are a super co-pilot! I’m always banned on the back seat, because I always try to drive the car with my own paws :o)
Haha Thanks for giving me the idea! 😉
Daisy looks sooooo happy
She sure was!!
That is SO cute…I have one of Jasmine sitting in the drivers seat and smiling like crazy.
It seems to be a favorite doggy seat!
Thrill ride into the garage – that’s pawsome! Chewy sits in the front seat when I drive. Unless the big dogs are in the back seat. Then he has to be with them.
Dogs really do love having co-pilot status!
Yes, you have chosen the perfect car to the perfect dog! 🙂
Her cuteness is incredibly heart-warming! Super pics!!!
Thank you! It’s funny how Daisy’s gray colorings coordinate so well with my car! 🙂
Nice setup there in the back seat, Daisy. 🙂 And I’m really glad you wear a car harness when you go places. Maya and Pierson do too.
Oh yes, my family always insists I wear a harness whenever we go past the driveway!
I wuvwuvwuv car rides toowooowooooooo!
They’re so much fun – there’s always an adventure along the way!
Daisy looks adorable riding shotgun.
LOL Thank you!
What cute pictures. I absolutely love the second one. Such little things brings so much pleasure. Short ride in the big seat next to mommy but what a thrill for her. Hugs and nose kisses
The picture where she looks so tiny through the windshield is my favorite too! It’s so precious how little things like that are enough to make a pet so happy. Good lesson for humans, don’t you think? 🙂
She looks so cute sitting next to you on the front seat, she must feel so important when you allow her to sit there next to you.
I’m sure she does! She gets so excited when I open that front door and tell her “go ahead”!
She looks SO comfy and cute! I so wish Riley enjoyed car rides…he tends to whine and cry the whole way 😦 But Daisy looks like one happy traveler!
She really is! We’ve taken her on 1200 mile car trips – two full days in the car with potty and meal breaks along the way – and she’s so cooperative. She really seems to enjoy exploring the new scents wherever we stop, and she stays occupied in the back seat with naps and her toys. I can only imagine how hard must be when pets don’t like to travel, I feel for you! We kept our fingers crossed the first time we drove her any real distance. 🙂
Gosh she does look thrilled. I think I like the last picture best. 🙂 Thanks so much for joining the hop!
She loves going on drives, but that little drive up the driveway is the most exciting treat of all for her!
What a cutie pie! We are new followers! Hope you come see us over at Walks With Rama!
Thanks, and we’ll stop by right now! 🙂
She really looks like she’s excited to be in the front seat. Maybe just an occasional front seat trip around the block? She’d be ecstatic! 🙂
She sure would!
Too cute!
Thank you!
She looks very cute, they’re lovely photos! I love going in the car, it’s always an adventure.
Yes – even if it’s a short one! 😉
Oh those precious paws…You have to be the most huggable dog ever…And you peeping through the passenger side window…Adorable!!!! Hugs
Heehee thank you! My family also thinks I’m very huggable and snugglable – and I love it! 🙂
Aww she is so cute! It is nice that you make her so comfy for car rides, which can often be stressful otherwise.
Thank you! Yes we’re really lucky that Daisy enjoys her car rides, it makes traveling around so much easier for all of us!
She sure looks happy:-)
She WAS!! 😀
Aww she looks like a great passenger!
She is – and no backseat driving either! 😉
