Waiting……

Daisy is a true family dog. And she wants the whole family to be together at all times.

We noticed this at first when she was very young and would wait by the door for whoever left to return. She looked pretty sad with her back all hunched, until she finally realized they would eventually come back!

If one of us takes a nap or sleeps later than the others, this still really bugs Daisy.

If you, as the sleeping beauty, want to keep on sleeping, you better make sure your door is closed – tightly. Because Daisy will push her way in and grumble and whine until you get up just to silence her.

Last December, DD had a really nasty cold and stayed home from work. She slept nice and late, much to Daisy’s dismay:

And this is what happened when DH took a rare nap one Sunday afternoon:

Daddy? Why are you napping? When are you coming out to play with me?

Notice a pattern here? 🙂

The Joy Of Summer, Havachon Style

Thank goodness the sweltering temps have finally eased up and given way to days that vary between the warm 80s and very early fall-like coolness and breezes. The cool fall days are really weird for August, but I’m not complaining!

Daisy’s much happier now too. But here’s what she enjoyed doing most during the heat wave:

Iams and Eukanuba Dog Food Recalls

Hi blog buddies! I know we’ve been pretty scarce for a little while, but our little world has been exceptionally busy. I’ve been able to squeeze in a few visits to some of your blogs, and I apologize for everything I’ve missed. I’m sure we’ll get back on track soon – I miss this reading about everyone’s adventures!

Meanwhile, I thought it was important to pass the word around about a dog and cat food recall from Iams and Eukanuba. Those of you who have subscribed to the Dog Food Advisor email notifications already know about it, but for anyone else, please check out their website and the long list of recalled dry food items that are suspected of being contaminated with Salmonella.
