Everyday Adventures in Havachon Heaven

The Good, Crazy, & Adorable Life of One Havachon Puppy

Daisy’s Donkey Kicks

on January 5, 2015

Happy New Year to all our blogging buddies!! Hope you all had VERY happy holidays! We’re back after our holiday hiatus, and we’ve got lots to share!

First, though, I wanted to show you this funny 11-second video of Daisy doing her silly-walk – she got a new matching raincoat and boots set for Christmas – a gift she really didn’t appreciate! Here she is trying to walk while doing her get-these-things-off-me donkey kicks:

If the video doesn’t work for you, here’s the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJZvJ3aw3_w

Our next post later this week will show Daisy’s famous holiday tradition. 😀

  1. hahaha that’s the way to walk on a catwalk! all that models would be green with envy! guess what? we have a Havachon in our furmily now too. my granny’s bff adopted a puppy what was given back to the breeder, it’s a funny little guy named Bailey. Can you imagine that someone could be so cold hearted that he brings back such a cute havachon-pup? People can be crazy, huh?

OMG NOOOO!!!! But if they didn’t want a cute, fun little Havachon, I’m glad they gave him back so someone who will love and appreciate all his cuteness could adopt him! Tell Bailey (I love that name!) his family can ask us any questions if they need special “Havachon advice”, and we’re so happy he found a happy home! 😀

      • Thanks, it’s good to know that you are there :o) I’m glad too, he found a super mom who loves him so much. She lost their beloved dog Alex last year and Bailey was the cure for her broken heart. He has a slightly tooth displacement and that was the reason his first family brought him back. He is a funny little guy and his house looks like a toy store :o)

Well anyone who would return a non-show dog just for a tooth issue can’t be the right parent for a Havachon! 😉 I’m sure Bailey is happier in a “toy store home” than he ever dreamed he could be! 😀 I’m so sorry to hear your friend lost Alex, it’s so hard to get over such a loss.

LOL..Too funny. The first time I put shoes on Torrey, she had us laughing so hard. That was last year, and now she is a pro in them.

Puss in boots! Hopefully she warms up to them soon. It certainly beats getting her pads torn up.

  4. OMC that is hilarious!!! At least she will walk with them! Anne who needs them just falls over and won’t get up! I love love it!! So glad you all are back! Happy 2015!!!!

  6. Misaki says:

oh bless. I walked like that when daddy made me wear socks lol

  7. LOL that is too cute. I guess I should say poor Daisy. 🙂

  8. amkuska says:

    Poor Daisy! No..I’m not laughing…really! 😀

  9. Such a cute little wiggle! And such a smart looking coat and boots. Hopefully she’ll grow accustomed. I would think her little paws would get so cold outside without the protection. She’s very lucky that her family has a sense of style. 🙂

Aw thank you Debra! We use the boots on Daisy during rain and especially when there’s snow on the ground because otherwise she ends up with ice balls stuck to the long hair between her pads – they’re tough to get out and not good for her paws either. Keeping that paw hair trimmed is almost impossible – it seems to grow back overnight!

Happy New Year! That’s adorable. Our poor Pixie is freezing outside and I was just thinking she needs some booties but fought me so hard on trying to put my kids’ socks on in the meantime! Daisy is so cute!

  11. Mumsy's Little Chancy Man says:

You were doing some high steppin’ in those cute boots sweet Daisy. 🙂 We hope you got used to them, they will keep your paws nice and toasty out in the cold weather. Hugs and nose kisses

  12. Novroz says:

hahahaha that’s a really cute walk

  13. teehee! paw^five Daisy! mom makes me wear shoes occasionally too and that’s exactly how i would walk. i guess that’s called the *donkey-kick* walk according to your mom! 😀 cuteness overload ❤
