Monday Mischief: It wasn’t me!

on June 4, 2012

So who could have left this trail of cute little paw prints across a freshly-washed kitchen floor?

Daisy, of course, tried to pin the blame on everyone else. (Denial is a powerful mischief tool….for a little while…) “I think it was DD – those shoes look like a match to me!”

I think I found the guilty party, Mommy!

“No? Well how about this socked foot? I’ve got the culprit trapped for you!”

Look Mommy, I’m sure this foot is a match! I’ll hold it here for you!

No Daisy, I think these feet are the perfect match, and they need a trim, by the way:

Darn! Caught AND about to get a foot trim….not good…..

These cute little paw prints always seem to happen more when floors have just been cleaned, that is the conclusion I have come to anyway from my own experience. πŸ™‚

  2. KSO says:

Uh oh…I do believe you caught the culprit. But how could you not forgive that face!

So cute…my Saucy is 6 months old today… And still as full of mischief as ever… Stealing shoes, knocking over waste baskets… Leaving little “gifts” in the middle go the guest room floor… Each night my husband and I say to each other… “Some day she,ll be a really good dog…” lol!

    Hey Daisy,

I’ve got to give you 10 out of 10 for effort buddy!! I was nearly convinced it wasn’t you, till I looked a little closer, those cute little paw prints could only belong to you Daisy πŸ™‚ Sorry your Mischief cost you a nail trim – Doh!! The price of Mischief – worth it though….. πŸ™‚

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy πŸ™‚

Busted… darn… and nail trim to boot, bummer!
Next time, don’t give any info without the advice of a lawyer or other K9 professional!

CSI should be alerted immediately to start investigating.

We dogs just don’t get what all the fuss is about. What’s wrong with a few cute little footprints about the house? :0)

Daisy your feet are so cute but we don’t think they made those marks on the floor. πŸ™‚

What adorable little popcorn paws! Nala has been redesigning our floor with her paw prints during the whole garden project, she loves to help me with the planting of trees by first prancing in the fresh soil and then pitter pattering innocently on our wooden floor πŸ™‚

  14. Good thing those were no mud prints πŸ™‚

  15. Aren’t they the cutest lil feet though! lol

  16. barb19 says:

You can’t fool your Mommy, Daisy!

  17. Oh yes, I feel so badly saying this, but she DOES look guilty! Poor little thing. Busted! Debra

  18. Colby says:

But they’re such cute little paws. Almost got away with the perfect crime!

    Happy Monday!

Oh darn. My computer is acting up again. Thanks for dropping by our blog.

LOL. Daisy, mommies are a lot smarter than that. Next time, use some paper towels to cover your paws before you cross the floor with tiny paw prints. Or better yet, every time you make a mark, draw a heart beside it so that she knows those are steps of love.

    Huggies and Cheese,

  20. Tsktsk! Oh Daisy!! Wear some socks next time! Then you’ll leave no trails and mom won’t get to see your paw pads! πŸ˜›

  21. Kroten says:

You should wash your feet before you get inside πŸ˜‰
