Nylabone Double Action Dog Chew Toy

YES! One of the rare chew toys that didn’t lie – it lasted at least 2 months!

Nylabone makes a number of different chew toys that are all recommended by vets for safety. The pieces that dogs can chew off are very tiny – not chunks – and pass right through their system if they swallow them.

Daisy made pretty short work of every other Nylabone level, but the difference is that this one is h-a-r-d while the others had a slightly rubbery feel and enough surface give for her to sink her teeth into….which is always the beginning of the end.

The downside is that this is a heavy toy, so when she drops it on an uncarpeted floor, it hits with quite a loud clatter. Also, the tiny pieces that she chews off are sharp (but NOT damaging) and sometimes make her cough when she swallows them. They’ve never caused a problem in any way. But if there are a couple on the floor and you step on them with a bare foot….well, you definitely know they’re there!

However, these two things are a very small price for us to pay for a Destructo-Pup tough toy that gives her hours and hours of chew time (plus it’s bacon flavored!). It took her about two months to turn this toy into this ———->
